This year 49 members enjoyed a visit to Kathy Brown’s Garden. The highlight was the garden tours given by Kathy and her Husband Simon. Their garden is beautiful with plants from around the world. Everyone enjoyed afternoon tea with a slice of one of Kathy’s wonderful homemade cakes using flowers from her garden as an ingredient.
Before going to the Garden, a hearty Sunday Roast lunch was enjoyed in an Old Coaching Inn, where the owner/chef and his wife excelled with their wonderful food and presentation.
En route there was a stop at Olney Village monthly Sunday Farmer’s Market where our members enjoyed a stroll to stretch their legs and sampled the produce available and even make purchases. The sun shone throughout the day which was an added bonus.
