The Sweet Pea and Rose Show and lunch had a very good turn out and was very successful. 15 members managed to display numerous entries of Sweet Peas plus 2 juniors and 13 members entered roses, despite the poor weather conditions prior to the Show.
Sheila Puckett won the best in Show for Sweet Peas and Gabrielle Hollington Best in Show for Roses.
After the lunch, we had a quick awards ceremony when the musician finished, to allow those who
stayed on to watch the World Cup football. Ann Cable, who presented the awards, chose her favourite artwork, and this was done by Devina Rishi.
