A good show despite challenging conditions

The 2024 Summer Flower Show attracted a good number of entries despite the very difficult growing conditions experienced Spring.

The winners in the various categories were:

The Derek Florin Cup: Best in Show Sweet Peas: Devina and Arun Rishi
The George Jennings Cup: Highest Aggregate Roses: Samina Iqbal
The Ron Brand Bowl: Best in Show Roses: Devina and Arun Rishi
The Alan Grierson Cup: Best in Show Mixed Flowers: Evan Theodorides
The Norman Francis Cup: Highest Aggregate Potted Plants: Devina and Arun Rishi
The Amani Iqbal Award: Overall Best in Show: Evan Theodorides

As well as the above awards a total of £120 of Trading hut vouchers were issued for the various first, second and third category aggregate points.
