The Savill Garden has earned its reputation as one of the finest woodland gardens in the country, not because it is the biggest woodland garden or that it has the largest collection of plants, but for a combination of all these elements. Its ability to keep adapting to its landscape environment provide a great balance of design, colour, and texture. Commissioned by George V and created by Sir Eric Savill in 1932, the Garden has been an inspiration for all. The natural haven of 35 acres is beautifully designed for a relaxing visit. The Garden has some slight inclines and dips but is mainly flat walking. Beautiful refreshment area and gift shop.
The day out will include:
