The sweet pea competition took place last Saturday 15th July. There were 13 entrants with 41 vases of sweet peas across the categories. Despite the inclement and changeable weather varying between icy winds, storms and extreme heat this was far more than expected.
Unfortunately, many people had to drop out when their sweet peas were not ready on the Show day.
The Show was attended by many members and guests and will be repeated next year. The art display attracted several pictures and showed off the many talents of members.
The show was followed by a Buffet and music and was enjoyed by all. There was even a little dancing…..
